Dr. Marcy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Detroit in 1993. Always knowing that she wanted to become a dentist, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2002. Upon graduation, Dr. Marcy earned several awards including the American Academy of Dental Practice Award, Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis Award, Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry, Dental Hygiene Community Service Award, and the Russell W. Bunting Study Club Award for Excellence in Periodontics. Dr. Marcy practiced at Haggerty Dental in Plymouth for over 18 years before relocating in April 2024 to other practices in the greater Northville-Novi-Plymouth-Livonia area.
In addition, Dr. Marcy is currently an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and was previously a clinical instructor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, teaching clinical skills to dental and dental hygiene students. She is also a clinical consultant for the Dental Advisor and is Vice President of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Alumni Board. Dr. Marcy is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Detroit District Dental Society. She resides in Northville with her husband, David, and their three children, where she is an active member of the community.
